About CUET Exam

CUET exam is the updated version of CUCET. CUET stands for the center university entrance test. It is administered by the National test agency(NTA). It will be conducted in 13 languages of India in online mode. MCQ-based questions will be asked in the CUET 2022. In 2022 CUET has seen great growth in the number of applicants and participating universities.

The CUET exam offers admission into UG/PG/Ph.d courses in universities. 10,50,000 plus students have already filled out the CUET 2022 application form. The number of participating universities in the CUET exam also increases to 85 in 2022 from 12 in 2021. Since the participation is pretty high, the CUET 2022 exam level is going to be between moderate to high. In the next few years, the CUET will be the biggest entrance exam in India. In 2022 universities like JNU, Delhi University, AMU and other top universities will also participate.

CUET Registration 

CUET registration dates for 2022 are out now. The last date to apply for the exam has been extended to 22 May (5:pm). Click here for more information about the CUET application form.

CUET Exam Eligibility 

Students who are willing to appear for the CUET 2022 exam must have to check the eligibility criteria set by NTA. Eligibility criteria are different for each course and there is no age limit set by the NTA for the CUET exam. The eligibility criteria of the universities can be different from the CUET eligibility criteria. So candidates who are appearing in the CUET 2022 must check the eligibility criteria of Universities.

CUET Exam Pattern 

In 2022 CUET changed completely from its previous edition CUCET. CUET 2022 will be organized online and MCQ-based questions will be asked in the CUET exam. CUET 2022 will have 4 sections in the exam. The exam will be conducted in two slots and both of the slots have different numbers of questions. In total 13 Indian languages will be used in the exam. For every right answer, the candidate gets 5 marks and 1 mark is deducted for the wrong answer.

CUET Syllabus 

CUET 2022 syllabus includes the various points from the previous academic sessions of the candidates. For UG courses the questions related to classes 11th and 12th will be featured in the CUET 2022. The general test section consists of questions on, Reasoning, English, quantitative ability, and general awareness. Click here for a detailed CUET Syllabus.

CUET Results 

CUET 2022 results will be out in the 1st week of august CUET results will be accepted by the 85 universities in India for their admission process. Since the number of applicants is quite big so it is estimated that the cutoff for the exam is also going to be high. After the result, the CUET universities will declare their cutoff and invite the applicants to the CUET counseling process.
